Glyph Runner

Rich with cultural code and urban texture, Glyph Runner by David Ordoñez Lacayo transforms the form of a leather shoe into a symbolic battlefield. Each side is embedded with sculptural silver shapes — some resembling Mesoamerican glyphs, others evoking digital-era circuitry. Beneath these forms, an explosion of color in rough textile-inspired patterns weaves across the surface, disrupting and energizing the structure.
Where previous pieces in the series lean into symmetry or elegance, this one feels intentionally chaotic — a rush of movement, symbols, and layered history.
