A fusion of ancient influence and contemporary abstraction, Prism Map Vessel by Laura Quezada is a meticulously painted ceramic that draws the eye in every direction. Covered from top to bottom in intersecting geometric fields, this spherical form bursts with layers of patterns — dots, grids, arrows, waves, and color-blocked panels in black, green, blue, red, and ivory.
Unlike more traditional Mata Ortiz pieces, this vessel breaks from symmetry, embracing a spontaneous, almost cartographic aesthetic.
