Kolorado Cevu

Minimal in color but bold in impact, Kolorado Cevu is a graphic meditation on identity, ritual, and the surreal. With thick, hand-carved lines and symbolic contrast, Baltazar Castellano Melo presents a mask-like face crowned with antlers—and atop them, a bird carries fire in its beak. The monochrome composition balances sharp geometry and mythical energy, evoking themes of transformation and ancestral power.
Executed using the traditional woodcut technique of xylography, this print is raw and expressive, yet meticulously crafted.
